Let me take you through the accommodation, which is for two people on three floors. Over the gangplank and into the sitting room, where there is a large L-shaped sofa, an open log fire, wall-mounted LCD television and a dining area to accommodate up to four people round the table. There are two large full height glass windows and French doors opening out onto a large decking area in the middle of the harbour with dining furniture, wall-wash lighting, outdoor electric heating and a large awning to keep off the sun (or rain!!)
The floor below has a lovely solid oak kitchen with granite worktops housing a dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge/freezer, microwave, ceramic hob and electric oven.
The bedroom is on the first floor; it has two large Velux windows with views over the harbour. There is a wall-mounted LCD television, a hotel style fixed hairdryer and a lovely ensuite bathroom, which has a large double-ender bath.

Dinner for 2 can be served at The Boathouse with prior warning. (Very Romantic!). We can also organise for flowers and Chocolates to be delivered before arrival.

The Boathouse is available on a hotel or self-catering basis. Small corporate or private parties of up to 12 people (approx.) can be catered for with a buffet style menu.

DID YOU KNOW? that you can have a private lunch or dinner party for 10/ 12 people in The Boathouse. Another alternative is to have our special standing buffet for 20 ish people. Obviously if it is a lovely day, we will set it up outside otherwise there is plenty of space inside.

This is a gorgeous environment for a special occasion or just a get together with friends! Obviously it is pretty booked so if you have a particular date in mind give us a ring and we will see what we can do!

All the bedrooms have flatscreen TV, alarm clock, CD players and hotel style fixed hairdryers. Towels supplied at a supplement of £10 per person if required. Complementary West Cliff car park permit for one car (£20 returnable Deposit to be arranged on collection of the key).

A renovated and refurbished cottage which was originally part of an 18th century inn. Set in the heart of Old Whitby (below St Marys Church, Whitby Abbey and the famous 199 steps), this fabulous cottage retains many of its original features. Spacious accommodation equipped to a very high standard.
